The Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence, hosted the fourth edition of AI UK, the UK's national showcase of data science and artificial intelligence (AI) research and innovation. The two-day event, with over 1300 delegates, connected government, academia, industry, and the rest of the AI ecosystem to discuss the most pressing societal issues.
Lord Sarfraz spoke on the ever-evolving intersection of ethics, security and technology as well as international collaboration, including the prohibition of AI in nuclear command and the need for a clear definition of AWS and maintaining human control.
