Lord Sarfraz addressed the opening session of the Commonwealth Conference on Parliamentary Scrutiny and Oversight of National Security, organised by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.
Lord Sarfraz spoke about the role of AI in defence and national security. He was joined on the panel by Sir John Sawers, former head of MI6, and Tom Keatinge,
Founding Director of the Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies, Royal United Service Institute.
The session was chaired by Alicia Kearns MP, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee.
