The Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Singapore made his first official visit to Singapore from May 9-11, 2022. During his visit, Lord Sarfraz met with Minister S. Iswaran, Minister of Transport and Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations.
Lord Sarfraz also met with a number of private and public sector investors, technology entrepreneurs, business networks and companies.
The focus of his visit was strengthening relationships between technology investors in the UK and Singapore. Lord Sarfraz was accompanied on the visit by a group of leading UK venture capitalists, and officials from the Department for International Trade.
